The Fisherman and His Wife is a classic tale and has been illustrated by many artists over the years. The version I have was illustrated by Mark Southgate in 1987. It was published by Andersen Press Ltd, London.

I'm always on the look-out for books for my grand niece and nephew...I've not heard of or seen this one before...so I'll have to find a copy for them...particularly with Christmas just around the corner. I already have six ready to be wrapped up for them!
